Grill Master Apron: Machine Embroidery for Totally Stitchin' Magazine

Summertime is for grilling, and I recently had the chance to do some custom machine embroidery on this grilling apron. Isn't it fun?!

Grilling Apron

Instead of sewing my own apron, I bought this apron from Amazon so I could start embroidering right away. Plus, I loved the bright blue color! I used Madeira thread in white and silver.

I stitched it all on my Baby Lock Destiny II. I love how you can "fast forward" or "rewind" your stitches (and see it all on screen!) in case you need to go back and try something again.

You can also check out my Home Sweet Home mini quilt (a free mini quilt pattern I designed with the Destiny's scanner and IQ designer).

The project instructions and embroidery file are available as a FREE download in the summer edition of Totally Stitchin', Baby Lock's online magazine. Check out the preview, and if you like what you see, just put in your e-mail for access to the whole magazine!
