Winner! And Color inspiration

Thank you to all who left a comment to enter the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day post. I asked for your color inspirations, and I got some new ideas of my own . . .

Sounds like many of you are digging navy fabrics! Perhaps they got it wrong with Emerald as the Pantone color of the year?

  3. Congrats to the winner! Mmm, emerald. I think it's too soon my Pantone friend, too soon! It's a little too close a reminder of the 90's hunter/forest green fad for me. I'd use it in bits but not have a whole quilt made out of it.
