Two Zippered Pouch Tutorials

Have you been following the fun at the Happy Little Pouch Hop? Yesterday was my stop (craft fail... I am sorry ladies, my auto-posting failed me!), and I'm excited to share two zipper pouch tutorials!

If you've never sewn a zipper, this tutorial is for you. I wrote it last week after hearing a few sewing and quilting friends say that they either avoid zippers or just have trouble with them. You can find the tutorial for the Easy Lined Zipper Pouch over at my other blog.

Zippered e-Reader Sleeve Tutorial

Once you get down the basic construction of sewing a zippered pouch, you might like to try my newest tutorial. It's a zippered and quilted e-Reader Sleeve! If you need a free pattern for a Kindle cover or iPad sleeve, this tutorial will guide you through the process of making a padded and quilted laptop, tablet or gadget cover for your device. Get the free zippered e-Reader sleeve tutorial.

I'd love to hear what you think! One of the readers at Craft Buds told me she whipped up the first zippered pouch in just 15 minutes, and the e-Reader sleeve doesn't take much longer than that, aside from quilting the panels.
