A rockin' new dress, and I think I like sewing clothes

The Jamie dress is complete! I estimate that it took me about 6 hours start to finish, but another one would take maybe 3 now that I know what's going on with the pattern.

Overall, I found this pattern pretty easy to follow. I think I've always flubbed my way through sewing on a zipper, but the step-by-step photos (and the hint to use a glue stick to keep the zipper in place) made it really smooth sailing.

What a sense of accomplishment! Now, I'm off to finish my mini quilt. I'll be linking this up to the Sew Sweetness Jamie dress sew-along.
