WIP Wednesday: Sorting a rainbow of fabrics

I'm sorting my fabrics this evening for the Bottled Rainbows quilt-along at Stitched in Color. 16 Kona solids (FQs), plus 2.75 yards of a neutral solid, plus coordinating colored scraps equals = my ticker tape quilt in progress.

Sorting fabric for bottled rainbows quiltalong

This is going to be my first larger quilt project in a long time! Linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced. Is anyone else out there participating in Bottled Rainbows?

  1. It's beautiful even in piles. I think I may have to try that quilt along, too. Can't wait to see it progress.

  2. Wow, I love your piles! My scraps have been calling to me lately, too, I'm pretty sure I'm going to join Rachel's quilt-along...but then that would mean I'd have to organize my scraps. Yours look so pretty all stacked up like this :)

  17. Mmmmm, what lovely colours! I am just in the midst of making my first ever quilt, but of course I am already planning the next one. I could do with sorting my stash to see if it gives me any ideas. I'll be posting up pictures tomorrow of the quilt so far- a little nerve-wracking!Laura x
