Weekend progress and handmade notecards swap

This weekend, I . . .
  • Made two stuffed manatees (one of them a smaller version of the original),
  • Started a criss cross quilt block for my IMQG bee,
  • Finished and packaged up these cards for a Craftster handmade card swap, and
  • Redboxed 3 movies and enjoyed being back home after a busy month of travel!

For the card swap, I made 5 cards each for 3 different people in my group. They sets range from whimsical and ethereal to cultural to cutesy, based on questionnaires.

Though I am always loving the Cricut for card making, my new favorite embellishment is anything made from old book pages.

Other favorites are birds, owls or trees. And I even used some crepe paper and a glue stick to make the white paper flowers. Quick & easy!

As you can see, their interests/tastes were a bit different, so I did my best to match personalities. Anyone have a favorite set?
