I Heart to Sew

I took part in m first online craft swap through Craftster, and I had so much fun--and I don't even know what my partner sent me yet!

The swap was called I <3 to Sew. and the assignment was to send your partner a total of two yards of fabric and 3-5 sewing accessories plus one medium (2+ hours) handmade item that you love to sew. Since I get my kicks from making stuffed animals, I tried out my owl pin cushion pattern I got at Christmastime. So happy I did, because Julie said it was "love at first sight." Awwww....

I also included a checkbook cover, a portable tissue holder (super easy to make), a tracing wheel, slap bracelet pin cushion(!), a purse pattern, measuring tape, and some pink vintage trim (Julie likes to make aprons, so I picked this out to go with her fabrics).

The vintage paper doll card is by Megan Winn at Binding Bee. Don't you love it?
